Applicant can withdraw his/her passport on the day of submission if he/she provides proof of travel to another country (a valid visa and flight ticket). Upon your return to Egypt, you are required to return the passport to the embassy. To do so, please send an email to emb.elcairo.vis@maec.es to schedule an appointment.

Note: All applicants seeking a long-term student visa must submit the receipt of payment for the course fees, additional to required documents.

Starting from 18 of November 2024 Egyptians and other nationalities residing in Egypt will need a transit visa that allows for transit through Spanish airports to a final destination outside the Schengen area.

As per the guidelines received from the Consulate of Spain in Cairo. All visa fees and BLS Service fees must be paid in US Dollars CASH.

Details of the Process:-

• Applicants must pay the visa fees and BLS service fees only cash in US dollars inside the office. Noting that your dollars should be in a very good conditions (new – clean – Clear - Crisp) and without (marks – damage - writings - cutting - stamps "only Western Union stamp is available"). Noting that we reserve the right to refuse any USD cash that does not meet these criteria.
• The other additional services for BLS will be paid cash in Egyptian pounds
• Starting from 01st of October,2023 the applicants who already deposited the Visa Fees (85 USD) in the Embassy’s bank account, they will need to pay the (85 USD) again in cash at BLS VAC. Accordingly, they may send an email to the Embassy to request for a refund of their deposit (Emb.elcairo.vis@maec.es).

Regarding the Appointments Letter:-

• Please note that the data you provide at the time of making your appointment has to be your personal and correct data.
• The visa centre will not accept any fake data.
• The name, passport number, mail address, phone number and the live photo must belong to the applicant himself.
• If the data is incorrect, applicants will not be allowed to submit their application.

Important Info:-

• For Non Profit Visa category, regarding the document (790-52), must pay 12 USD directly at the Embassy, all working days from Sunday till Thursday starting from 9:00am to 11:00am.
• For (EET/TEE/TRE) category at Website Disclaimer, regarding the document (790-52), must pay 12 USD directly at the Embassy, all working days from Sunday till Thursday starting from 9:00am to 11:00am.
• EU family members have the right to go directly to the Consulate to manage their visa application.
• Other specific categories who were already allowed to travel to Spain will apply at BLS (holders of residence/working permits, students (long term), and professional athletes) except humanitarian cases should contact the Embassy of Spain in Cairo: emb.elcairo.vis@maec.es.
• BLS Spain Visa Application Centre does not provide any other services apart from reception and processing of Spanish visa applications as authorized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spain.
• The applicant will receive a receipt of all the paid services from BLS and it must contains the same name and passport number of the applying person.
• Any Applicant does not have an appointment, will not be admitted to BLS office.
• The applicant must provide the original receipt while Receiving his passport.
• If the Applicant cancelled his appointment, BLS will not guarantee any other appointments.
• As of 2nd February, 2020 the deadline for submitting a visa application is extended to 6 months instead of 3 months.
